We develop and produce original independent films. Each project is built around a clear visual identity, with its look, locations and colour developed from the story itself and carried through writing, shooting and post-production. See our Films page for our current films.

Every SUGARDICE film is made with an original score. We commission and produce music written for the picture, working with composers and musicians from early development so the music shapes the story as it takes form. We then release the score officially on streaming platforms, so the music reaches audiences in its own right, alongside the film. See our Music page for our current soundtracks.

A film only works if people can find it. We plan each release with a festival strategy aimed at leading international festivals, alongside online routes such as submission to MUBI and BFI Player. We build attention along the way through regular social content, behind-the-scenes material, an IMDb presence and industry networking events.

Independent film depends on people who believe in it early. We work with supporters, investors and collaborators to fund our projects, and we are open to conversations about co-production, partnerships and investment. Read more on our Investor and Support pages.
